KHL Game Day Preview | September 11, 2022

Avangard, CSKA seeking wins on the road

Avangard, who starts the 2022-2023 campaign on a twelve-game road trip due to difficulties with its new arena to open on time for the start of the season, faces Avtomobilist. It won’t be an easy game as the Motormen had a good first part and their key player – Stephane Da Costa – is on fire lately.

CSKA will pay a visit to Yaroslavl. Lokomotiv had a few nice games this season, and Igor Nikitin will be determined to defeat its former side.

The KHL matchday starts early, with Admiral welcoming Kunlun Red Star. After the Far East showdown, Sibir hosts Traktor with its starting goalie Anton Krasotkin topping the league with a 98.8% saves percentage. Four games are on tap on an exciting KHL Sunday.
