Rob Williams reported early today former #Canucks winger Jake Virtanen will be suiting up with the Oilers in preseason after being signed to a PTO.

Farhan Lalji on Quinn Hughes moving to the right side by the Canucks: Hughes viewed asking the organization to move to the right side as a “once in a while thing. Maybe in the O zone”. Also likes the thought of playing with Schenn who he feels stabilized his game. Wants the coaching staff to have both options. #Canucks

Rick Dhaliwal quoted Elliotte Friedman on Bo Horvat contract : It is not close, not progressing. Some people think it will be in the 6’s, I do not believe that, in the very least in the 7’s.

Most of all, I thank the pioneers of the sport of ice hockey which has evolved and changed so much over the last 150 years. Without those folk that played, and developed the global activity that is in all parts of the world, the world would have been less for it.
