The Final Rounds of the Kazakhstan Women’s Championship will be held in Almaty, Kazakhstan from April 18 to April 27, 2022

From April 18 to April 27 in Almaty, the Baluan Sholak Sports Palace will host games within the second and third rounds of the Kazakhstan Women’s Championship. 

In the fight for medals, the capital’s “Tomiris”, “Torpedo” from Ust-Kamenogorsk, “Bars” from the Almaty region, as well as two teams representing the southern capital – “Aisulu” and “Zhuldyz” will compete.

The first round leader of the championship is “Aisulu”.

The team “Aisulu” became the winner of the first round held from October 26-30, 2021 in Almaty, Kazakhstan at Baluan Sholak Sports Palace.

The current champions won all four matches in regular time and scored 12 points. At the same time, the Almaty team was the most productive team of the tour – 53 goals were scored. Alexander Maltsev’s players also played well in defense, allowing only 2 goals.

In the second place is the capital’s “Tomiris” (3 wins and 9 points). Ust-Kamenogorsk “Torpedo” closes the top three (2 wins, 6 points).

The biggest victory of the tour took place on October 28. On this day, “Aisulu” defeated rivals of “Zhuldyz” with a score of 23: 1.

The best scorer is Roxanne Rio from the team “Aisulu”. She scored 19 (8-11) points in 4 matches.

The best sniper of the tournament is “Tomirist” Olga Shirokova. During 4 matches she scored 11 goals.

The best defender is Catherine Meskini of Torpedo. She has 10 (2 + 8) points.

Goalkeeper of “Aisulu” Arina Shchekolova spent 220 minutes on the ice and showed the best game among all the players in her role. She allowed only one goal, showed an efficiency of 97.8% of shots saved.
