Alaska Aces Defeat Wichita Thunder 6-4 In Final Of Three Game Weekend Series On Sunday

The Alaska Aces (8-4-0-1) took on the Wichita Thunder (7-5-0-0) on Sunday, in the final game of three this weekend, and defeated the Thunder 6-4, in Wichita.

The Aces scored four goals in the final period of the game, to rally from behind for the win, and take two of the three weekend games in Wichita.

Peter Sivak had a goal and an assist; Tim Wallace a goal and an assist.

Other goals came from Stephen Perfetto, Garet Hunt, Tommy Olczyk and Daniel Moynihan.

Michael Garteig stopped 40 of 44 shots to improve his record to 7-1-0, and received an assist in the game.  He also has a 2.32 goals-against average, .926 save percentage and one shutout.

The Aces return home to get ready fo a three-game homestand against the Utah Grizzlies.
