Coach Willie Desjardins announced today that Alex Edler is out of the line up and is day-to-day with an upper body injury, most likely suffered last night in the game against Ottawa.
He also provided an update on Chris Tanev:
Defenseman Troy Stecher has been recalled from the Utica Comets to help deal with the depleted defense core.
Meanwhile, Derek Dorsett was not on the ice for morning practice, leading to speculation he may be hurt. Jack Skille took his spot in the rotation.
