- Elias Pettersson assisted on Quinn Hughes’ first goal of the season and scored a goal to give the Canucks a 3-1 lead 2o improve his season totals to 1-8—9 (5 GP). He is now tied with Jack Hughes (4-6—10 in 4 GP) for the most points among all players this season.
- Pettersson is the sixth player in Canucks franchise history to reach the 10-point mark in five games or less and joins Dan Hodgson (4 GP in 1987-88), Tony Tanti (4 GP in 1983-84), Alexander Mogilny (5 GP in 1995-96), Anatoli Semenov (5 GP in 1992-93) and Paul Reinhart (5 GP in 1989-90).
- Carson Soucy recorded the Canucks’ sixth power-play goal of 2023-24, marking the first time Vancouver has six or more power-play goals through its first five games in a season since 2012-2013 (6 in 5 GP).
- Quinn Hughes gave Vancouver a 1-0 lead with his first goal of the season on a power play at 11:09 of the first period, beating Bobrovsky with a wrist shot from beyond the circles. It was also his first NHL career road power-play goal in the NHL.
