Chris Faber reported today Canucks prospect Lucas Forsell dressed for his SHL team’s regular season opener but didn’t have a shift in the game.

Thomas Drance interviewed Canucks GM Patrik Allvin for TheAthletic, and asked if the Canucks could continue adding talent to the club before the season begins.

Allvin responded, “We’ll see if there’s a fit, or if there’s another potential trade or something that comes up. We’re open, I think, always, to improving our team.

Jeremy Colliton on the Canucks win over the Flames: “Bunch of guys had good performances and now we got to build on it.”

Iain MacIntyre quoting Canucks GM Patrik Allvin: “Whatever people think of those last 50 games, it wasn’t good enough because we didn’t make the playoffs. So let’s stop talking about it. We need to be better.”
