KHL Game Day Preview | September 13, 2022

Will Avangard finally get a win?

Avangard had certainly other ambitions for the start of the 2022-2023 campaign, and it’s yet not only to achieve a victory, but even to get a point after four losses in regulation. Today, the Hawks pay a visit to Novosibirsk and the Siberian derby may be a great chance to revert the trend.

Earlier, the Far East hosts the first game of a light KHL Tuesday when Amur hosts Kunlun. The Dragons aren’t playing their best hockey lately, and Amur may get out of the game with two precious points for the playoff battle.

Then, Barys hosts Traktor hunting its first win of the season – the Kazakhs are yet to win, but they are ahead of Avangard in the standings by virtue of a SO loss to Dinamo Minsk in the season’s inaugural game.
