KHL Game Day Preview | September 12, 2022

SKA moves to Cherepovets trying to keep its streak alive!

Two teams are undefeated so far – SKA and, surprisingly, Vityaz. Both are hitting the ice today, with SKA paying a visit to Cherepovets, who is also in excellent shape, and Vityaz welcoming Dynamo Moscow. This means that both games will be open to any result and emotions are to be expected.

The KHL matchday starts in the Eastern Conference, with Salavat Yulaev hosting Spartak. Ufa had a slow start of the season, but it’s not getting the ball rolling with two wins in a row. Spartak suffered from its first defeat on Saturday, when an OT goal by Philippe Maillet gave Metallurg a 2:1 home win.

Ak Bars and Dinamo Minsk will be an interesting matchup in Kazan – both sides had a good start of the season and have enough ambition to seek yet another win. In this action-packed KHL matchday, Neftekhimik and Torpedo will meet in Nizhekamsk, with the Wolves seeking their first victory of the new season.
