BCHL Trail Smoke Eaters Add 2006 Forward Logan Peskett for 2022/23

Trail, British Columbia (May 11th, 2022) – Smoke Eaters sign 2006 born forward Logan Peskett for the 2022/23 season.

Peskett will join the Smoke Eaters after making a stellar impression after attending the Smoke Eaters ID camp at the end of April. The 15-year-old from North Vancouver, BC, played as an underaged this past season with the West Van Academy U18 prep team where he produced 13 goals and four assists for 17 points in 30 games. Peskett added four more goals in the playoffs in just three games. The 6’2″ right shot forward was also selected in the WHL Bantam draft in December.

BCHL Trail Smoke Eaters Add Kootenay Local Rhett Hamilton for 2022/23 Season

Trail, British Columbia (May 9th, 2022) – Smoke Eaters add Kootenay local Rhett Hamilton to the roster for the 2022/23 season.

Hamilton, from Bonnington, BC, joins the Smoke Eaters after a strong campaign in the KIJHL with the Nelson Leafs. Hamilton, a 2004 born, right forward, finished the regular season with 26 points in 40 games. He’d then go on to produce through the KIJHL playoffs, adding another 16 points in 18 games. The Kootenay local also played in two games for the Smoke Eaters this season and scored in his first BCHL game against the Salmon Arm Silverbacks. Hamilton, who grew up a Smoke Eaters fan is beyond thrilled to now play for his home town BCHL team!
