The Vancouver Sun article appeared on October 6, 1989, celebrating the original expansion Vancouver Canucks team that has since continued to be a fixture in the Lower Mainland and in the province of British Columbia, which was celebrating their 20th season in the NHL in 1989-90.

Stick-taps indeed to the first roster to start off the Vancouver Canucks in the NHL, and to all the others that have followed since, now and in future.
