Vancouver Canucks with 2 games on US National TV, are one of three Canadian teams to be featured, with the Edmonton Oilers with 18 games, to lead ALL NHL teams, followed by Toronto Maple Leafs with 11 games.

Calgary Flames, Montreal Canadiens, Ottawa Senators, and Winnipeg Jets were unrepresented from being on US NHL National TV games.

So much for equity and equal access to the US market and growing the game.

No wonder players on Canadian based teams don’t get the exposure for major NHL awards at season end and for All- Star game selection.

No wonder free agents and foreign players would rather play in the United States.

Canadian based teams just keep accepting their fate and treatment by the NHL Power Brokers and TV networks.

C’ est la vie. Such is life.
