KHL Game Day Preview | September 9, 2022

SKA hosts Dynamo Moscow as the temperature is high already!

SKA had an excellent start of the season, with three straight wins and a dominant performance. However, the Blue-and-Whites also achieved three victories, so the stakes are high for both sides.

Another exciting game will see Salavat Yulaev and Traktor going at it in Ufa. Both teams had a hard start and are recovering, but tonight, only one team can prevail.

The temperature won’t be any lower in Novosibirsk. Sibir hosts Kunlun Red Star after the two teams collided on Tuesday – with Sibir escaping from Mytischi with a SO win. Emotions were through the roof in the Moscow Region, and three players are watching the game from the stands as they will serve a one-game disqualification after Tuesday’s hot confrontation.

If SKA and Dynamo Moscow’s powerful starts weren’t a surprise, Vityaz’s performance certainly is. The Moscow Region franchise won its previous three games and hosts Lokomotiv tonight. Will Vityaz go on with its ride?

A showdown between HC Sochi and Barys closes the KHL matchday. One of the two contestant will get its first win of the season.
