Canucks Quinn Hughes collected his 20th point of the month in November last night against the Colorado Avalanche (5-15=20) since Nov. 1), joining Dennis Kearns (1-20=21 in March 1977) as only the second player in Canucks history with a 20-point calendar month.

Hughes also continued his lead in NHL scoring (8-23=31), with a point last night (0-1=1).

Cale Makar (2-18=20 since Nov. 1), also reached the 20-point mark in November in part to an active streak of five consecutive multi-point games, the first defenseman in Avalanche and Nordiques history with 18 assists in a single calendar month and amassed 20 points for the second time in his career (4-17—21 in March 2023).

Makar (1-1=2) last night extended his point streak to 8 games for the Avalanche in a 5-2 win against Vancouver at Ball Arena.
