Smokies Look To End Losing Streak, Win First Home Game Of Season

Tonight at Cominco Arena, Trail takes on the Wenatchee Wild in the first of two consecutive home games this Thanksgiving weekend for the Smoke Eaters.
West Kelowna drops in tomorrow night to take on the Smokies in another key Interior Conference contest.
West Kelowna (3-1-0-0, tied for 2nd, with three other teams including Cranbrook) play Cranbrook Bucks tonight, and are undefeated in their first two road games heading into play this weekend.
The Smoke Eaters (1-3-0-0, tied 7th in Interior Conference) are mired in a two game losing streak after starting the opening weekend of the 2022-23 season with a split in games.
Last weekend they lost both games of a home and away series against their Kootenay rivals the Cranbrook Bucks, including their home opener.
Trail is looking to begin their two game homestand with a win against the Wenatchee Wild, who are winless to begin the season with a 0-2-0-1 record (8th in InteriorConference), and get their first home win of the young season.
Players to watch for the Smokies: Judah Makway, Nicholas Remissong, Adam Parsons, Evan Bushy and Alec Whipple.
Players to watch for the Wild: Jonathan Horn, Gabe Dombrowski, Travis Bohnet, Christian Kim and Mario Gadparini.
