Vancouver (11-13-2=24 pts) played the first game of a 5 game road trip tonight at Prudential Center against Eastern conference rivals, New Jersey Devils (12-7-6=30 pts).

Vancouver went for their 4th road win of the season, while the Devils were trying to remain without a regulation loss at home this season.

Could both teams do both? Was not to be, as the Devils defeat the Canucks 3-2.

A scary moment in game with Canucks defenseman Philip Larsen who was hit hard by Devils Taylor Hall, behind the Canucks net, and slumped down onto the ice from the unseen Hall.
