The Vancouver Canucks had an optional morning skate today in preparation for the Anaheim Ducks tonight.

The players seems realistic as to what they can expect tonight, and confident that they can be competitive against the Ducks, who always seem to be a thorn in the Canucks side.

Vancouver’s young defense will have their hands full tonight contending with the big, tough Anaheim players, moving around the Canucks net, and in the blue paint but Troy Stecher knows what it will take to be successful against the potent Ducks offense.

Canucks coach Willie Desjardins says Anaheim’s physical style will be a good test for his young blueline.

Ryan Miller to start against the Ducks tonight.

Bo Horvat, feels if the Canucks can play a tight system, keeping the Ducks from the Canucks end, good chances are bound to happen.
