Vancouver (11-12-2=24 pts) played the final game of a three game homestand tonight at Rogers Arena against Eastern conference rivals, Toronto Maple Leafs (10-9-5=25 pts).
The Maple Leafs came back in regulation with two unanswered goals against Vancouver to tie the game at 2-2, and forced overtime against the Canucks.
Toronto though were unable to win in the overtime, and Vancouver edged the Maple Leafs, for a 3-2 SO victory, with Bo Horvat and Ryan Miller the heroes in the shoot out: Horvat with the key goal and Miller the key saves.
Daniel Sedin scored his 7th goal of the season in the first period to give the Canucks a 1-0 lead; Sven Baertschi with his 3rd goal in his last 4 games, and 4th of the season, made it 2-0 in the second period.
Henrik Sedin picked up his 10th assist; Alex Burrows and Luca Sbisa, their 6th assists; and Nikita Tryamkin, his first helper of the season.
Ryan Miller stopped 38 of 40 shots.

Canucks, continue to be in 6th place in the Pacific division; 4 points in front of Arizona.
Game Summary
In the first, Daniel Sedin scored his 7th goal of the season, assisted by Luca Sbisa (6) and Henrik Sedin (10), at 13:03, to give the Canucks a 1-0 lead.
- Canucks had 15 hits in the opening period
- Bo Horvat had 3 shots and Sven Baertschi 2 shots, as Vancouver out shot Toronto 9-7.

- Troy Stecher a +1 after two periods, had 1 shot, 1 shot attempt blocked, 1 hit and 1 blocked shot, in 13:05. Not very auspicious.
- Canuck defensemen had 6 registered shots on net after two periods.
In the third, Toronto made their comeback complete, evening the game up at 2-2, on a goal by Austin Matthews (11), at 1:56, assisted by Zach Hyman (5) and Martin Marincin (4).
The game would end 2-2 in regulation and overtime would not settle the issue either.
In the shoot out the Canucks would get goals from Markus Granlund and Bo Horvat; and Bo Horvat’s shoot out goal would be the difference, as Vancouver wins 3-2.
