Trail Smoke Eaters Sweep Thanksgiving Weekend Games

Trail Smoke Eaters win both Thanksgiving weekend games culminating with a 4-3 overtime win over the West Kelowna Warriors with 2.7 seconds left in the extra time session on Saturday night.

Quinn Disher with the OT goal, assisted by Nicholas Remissong at 4: 57 of 1st overtime.

With 9 seconds left, Remissong won a faceoff in the neutral zone, drawing it back to Disher who carried it all the way in for the winning shot.

  • Trail defeated Wenatchee Wild 7-5 on Friday night.
  • Smokies improve their season record to 3-3-0-0
  • Trail continues their six game homestand next weekend, welcoming the Salmon Arm Silverbacks on Friday, October 14, followed by the Cranbrook Bucks on Saturday, October 15.
