General Manager Patrik Allvin announced today that the Canucks    have agreed to terms on an Entry Level Contract with Tristen Nielsen.

SUMMARY▴

Tristen Nielsen’s salary is $870,000, and his cap hit is $870,000 for the 2023-24 season. His salary is comprised of $95,000 in signing bonuses and $775,000 in base salary. He is a 23 year old center who was born on Feb. 23, 2000. He has signed 1 contract worth a total value of $950,000. He will be a RFA at the end of the 2023-24 season when he is 24 years old.

Vancouver Canucks defeated the Calgary Flames 3-0 at the Young Stars Classic in Penticton Friday night.

Goals from Arshdeep Bains, Tristen Nielsen and Linus Karlsson led the way with Arturs Silovs with the shutout.

Next game for Canucks is Sunday against Winnipeg at 2 pm, finishing up Monday against Edmonton at 2:30 pm.
