The National Hockey League Players’ Association has announced that 22 players have elected salary arbitration:

Salary arbitration hearings will be held from July 20 to Aug. 4.  

For teams that have an arbitration case, once the last case is either settled (meaning a new contract is signed) or awarded, a second buyout window opens.  Players with a cap hit of $4M or more and who were on the team’s roster at the last trade deadline are eligible to be bought out.
