Boston Bruins General Manager Don Sweeney announced today that Boston has signed former Vancouver Canucks goaltender Michael DiPietro to a 1-year, 2-way contract with an NHL cap hit of $775,000.
DiPietro, 24, appeared in one AHL game with Providence during the 2022-23 season, recording a win with a 2.00 goals against average and .943 save percentage. He also appeared in 29 ECHL games with Maine, compiling a 19-9-0 record with a 2.61 goals against average and .918 save percentage.
The 6-foot, 200-pound goaltender has played in 75 career AHL games with Providence, Utica and Abbotsford, putting up a career record of 40-25-6-1 with a 2.83 goals against average and .906 save percentage.
