Clubs can place players on waivers today at 2pm ET.

Today marks the 12th day prior to start of the NHL season, which opens on Oct 10.

General Manager Patrik Allvin announced today that the Canucks    have agreed to terms on an Entry Level Contract with Tristen Nielsen.

SUMMARY▴

Tristen Nielsen’s salary is $870,000, and his cap hit is $870,000 for the 2023-24 season. His salary is comprised of $95,000 in signing bonuses and $775,000 in base salary. He is a 23 year old center who was born on Feb. 23, 2000. He has signed 1 contract worth a total value of $950,000. He will be a RFA at the end of the 2023-24 season when he is 24 years old.
