EVENING EDITION

Are Canucks Floating Demko and Miller Ahead Of Trade Deadline?

Rick Dhaliwal: Texting with Jim Rutherford about reports back east that he is not happy in Vancouver and wants out. Was told by Jim that there is nothing to it.

Daniel Wagner: If it wasn’t for bad luck, Jonathan Lekkerimäki would have no luck at all. A season-ending foot injury is the latest setback in a hellacious year for the Canucks’ top prospect.

Jason Brough:

Emily Kaplan: There has been a lot of speculation about Canucks goalie Thatcher Demko ahead of the trade deadline. Per sources, at least four teams have called Vancouver asking about Demko’s availability — and the Canucks haven’t said no to any of those teams.

Canucks Central: “It wouldn’t shock me if we hear some rumours about teams calling on JT and Vancouver considering it… They aren’t in a position to say no to anybody unless they’re asking about 2 players.” @danriccio_ and @SatiarShah
