Smokies Sign Canadian Sport School Hockey League (CSSHL) student-athletes Logan Peskett, Connor Seeley and Remy Spooner for the 2022/23

The Trail Smoke Eaters have signed Canadian Sport School Hockey League (CSSHL) student-athletes Logan Peskett, Connor Seeley and Remy Spooner for the 2022/23 British Columbia Hockey League (BCHL) season.

Logan Peskett

A sixth-round pick, 127th overall at the 2021 Western Hockey League (WHL) Draft by the Kelowna Rockets, Peskett played two seasons in the CSSHL. The North Vancouver, BC forward joined the league for the 2020/21 season, recording five points in four U15 Prep games with the Delta Hockey Academy Green team. This past season Peskett tallied 13 goals and 4 assists in 30 games with the West Van Academy U18 Prep team.

Connor Seeley

A forward from West Kelowna, BC, Seeley spent the 2021/22 U18 Prep season with the Pacific Coast Hockey Academy U18 Prep team, finishing second in team scoring with 33 points in 35 games. Seeley would score once in four BCHL games as an affiliate player for the Cowichan Valley Capitals.

Remy Spooner

Finishing with 30 points in 27 U18 Prep games, Spooner would lead all Okanagan Hockey Academy (OHA) skaters with 1.11 points per game in 2021/22. The Kelowna, BC forward would record six goals and five assists in nine OHA U18 Prep games the season prior.
