The business side of the Canucks has Jim Rutherford, President of Hockey Operations, juggling a number of things pressing for his full attention: from the signing of J.T. Miller and Bo Horvat to extensions, freeing up cap space; evaluating Canuck prospects, and preparing for free agency.

Every hockey team is facing the same issues but Rutherford believes patience is the key word and puts emphasis on it, every time he is asked how things are going; and when there will be favorable results.
No team wants to make an embarrassing mistake, having a decision come back to haunt them. So that’s reason for due diligence and patience when juggling important matters. Embarrassment? Canucks have been there, done that, under different management and ownership.
Heres to patience and long suffering. Cheers.
