THE KILLERS OPEN SCOTIABANK WORLD CUP OF HOCKEY FAN VILLAGE
Global rock band The Killers – along with Canadian rockers Sam Roberts Band and singer/songwriter Daya – christen the Scotiabank World Cup of Hockey Fan Village today with the Pepsi World Cup of Hockey Premiere Party.
Actor Jay Baruchel will host the event, which will be broadcast live from the Pepsi Main Stage at 7 p.m. ET (ESPN2, SN, TVAS). The festivities also will include a parade of players from each of the participating teams in the World Cup of Hockey 2016.

* REMINDER: A Scotiabank World Cup of Hockey Fan Village credential is required for media access to Fan Village at the Distillery District. A World Cup of Hockey 2016 credential will NOT be accepted.
NHL.COM INTERNATIONAL COVERS WORLD CUP OF HOCKEY 2016
NHL.com International will cover the World Cup of Hockey 2016 with sites in Russian (WCH2016.com/ru), Finnish (WCH2016.com/fi), Swedish (WCH2016.com/sv), Czech (WCH2016.com/cs), Slovak (WCH2016.com/sk) and German (WCH2016.com/de).
In addition to those sites, the NHL.com International homepages will transition to the new and improved MLBAM platform next week.

Today is the accreditation deadline for media interested in covering the 2016 Kraft Hockeyville Canada game between the Edmonton Oilers and Los Angeles Kings on Sunday, Oct. 2, at Kal Tire Place in Vernon, B.C.
