Less than four months after the 2016 IIHF Ice Hockey World Championship, Swedish goaltender Jacob Markstrom returns to the international stage at the World Cup of Hockey.
If there is such a thing as a goalie gene, Sweden’s Jacob Markstrom must have it. After all, he comes from a family of goalies. His mother used to be a handball goalie, his father a football goalkeeper in a top Swedish team, and his brother a football goalkeeper.
