Thomas Drance, Canucks writer for The athletic reports that Abbottsford Canucks goalie Michael DiPietro will start for Vancouver against the St. Louis Blues tonight.

Canucks backup Jaroslav Halak (border issue) is out.
Third string goalie Spencer Martin (awaiting further tests) is likely out.
AHL goaltender Arturs Silovs (COVID) is out.

The backup for the Canucks is reported to be from the UBC Thunderbirds, Rylan Toth.
