Despite outshooting the Indy Fuel, the Alaska Aces failed to find a way to score, ending up losing to the Fuel 2-0, on Saturday night.

The Aces (6-3-0-1) lost the last two games of the three game series against the Fuel (4-6-1-0). Alaska defeated Indy 5-1 on Wednesday night, only to lose Friday night in a shootout decision, 3-2.

Indy goaltender Jake Hildebrand stopped 37 shots for the shutout and Anthony Beauregard tallied the game-winning goal for Indy last night.

Vancouver Canucks prospect, and Aces goalie, Michael Garteig, stopped 29 of 31 shots in the loss.

The Aces next travel to Wichita for games next Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

The Alaska Aces lost to the Indy Fuel 3-2 in a shootout tonight at the Sullivan Arena in Anchorage, Alaska.

The Aces are now 6-2-1, after defeating the Indy Fuel  earlier in the week by a 5-1 score; and have registered a point in five consecutive games, while Indy, 3-7-1, ended their three game losing streak and seven game winless streak, with the win tonight.

Tyler Ruegsegger and Tim Wallace scored for Alaska. Danny Moynihan picked up an assist.

Aces goaltender Kevin Carr stopped 29 shots in regulation and overtime.

The two teams play the rubber match Saturday night at Sullivan Arena.

The Aces will then embark on a three game road trip against the Wichita Thunder.
