Vancouver Canucks (33-34-5), 6th in the Pacific Division) defeated the Dallas Stars (38-20-14), 2nd in the Central Division) 3-1 Saturday, March 25, 2023 at the American Airlines Center.

Vancouver Extends Win Streaks

It was the Canucks third straight road win improving their road record to 16-16-4. It was also their second consecutive win, putting them 9-2-0 in their last 11-games.

For Dallas, it was just their tenth home loss of the season, snapping a 2-game home win streak.

The win was only Vancouver’s seventh win of the season, scoring 3-goals or less, improving to 7-28-4.

On The Road Again

Vancouver continues the road trip against Chicago tomorrow, March 26; and concludes in St. Louis, Tuesday, March 28.

Dakota Joshua with a shorthanded goal; Brock Boeser with the winning goal; and Jack Rathbone, called up fron Abbotsford for the game on an emergency basis, each had a goal.

Single assists went to Nils Aman, J.T. Miller, Filip Hronek, Andrei Kuzmenko, and Elias Pettersson.

Ryan Suter scored for the Stars; and San Jose goalie Matt Murray made 21 saves for Dallas, who are now 18-10-9 at home this season. They have also now lost 4 of their last 6-games.

Canucks starting goalie Thatcher Demko made 25 saves for the Canucks for a .962 SV% (Save Percentage), and is 8-3-0 in Vancouver’s last 13 games, since returning from injury on February 27, 2023.
