Kazakhstan evened up its record at 1-1 in round robin play with the 5-1 win today in Katowice, Poland after an opening day loss yesterday to host Poland 3-1.

Korea dropped its second consecutive game after opening the tournament with a 5-0 loss to China on Friday.

Trail, British Columbia born and bred Erin McLean had one assist for Kazakhstan.
