Aisulu Almaty-4 vs Silesian Metropolis Katowice-3

Aisulu Almaty (8-1-0-0=24 pts) returned to their winning ways in the EWHL 2021-2022 season, with a 4-3 win against Katowice (3-4-1-0=11 pts).

The two teams split the weekend two game series, with a win each.

Almaty is in second spot in the standings, 3 points behind EHV Sabers Vienna and 8 pts ahead of HC SKP Bratislava. Almaty has one game in hand on the Sabres.

Katowice is 3 points behind 4rth place MAC Budapest, with 3 games in-hand; and are in 5th spot, 2 points ahead of KMH Budapest, tied with KEHV Lakers, after the Lakers win today.

KEHV Lakers-3 vs DEC Salzburg Eagles-1

KEHV Lakers (2-7-2-1=11 pts) picked up their second regulation win of the season in their last three games, 3-1 to DEC Salzburg Eagles-1 (0-4-2-1=5 pts), who continue to remain winless in regulation play from the start of the season.

The Lakers remain undefeated in regulation play their last three games, their only loss being 2-1 by shootout yesterday against EVB Eagles South Tyrol.

The Lakers move up to a tie for 5th in the EWHL, while the Eagles occupy 9th place, 2 points ahead of Budapest Jegkorong Academia and KSV Neuberg Highlanders, both tied for 10th spot in the 11-team league.
